Canadian gold miner founded in 2007 by former Bema Gold executives after Bema was acquired by Kinross. It has grown through acquisitions including Central Sun Mining, CGA Mining and Papillon Resources, and is listed in Toronto and New York.

Its flagship African mine is Fekola in Mali, one of the country's largest gold operations, and it also owns the Otjikoto mine in Namibia; a third mine operates in the Philippines.
