Lucara Diamond

Canadian diamond miner founded in 2009 by Lukas Lundin, Eira Thomas and Catherine McLeod-Seltzer, part of the Lundin Group of Companies. It is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and is known for recovering some of the largest gem-quality diamonds ever found.

Lucara's sole producing asset is the Karowe mine in Botswana, where in August 2024 it recovered the world's second-largest gem-quality diamond ever found; it is also developing an underground extension at Karowe.
