Resolute Mining posted a $162.6m net profit for H1 2026 as record gold prices offset lower group output, with its Senegalese unit paying a $121.3m dividend that included the government's share.
Resolute Mining said Syama would produce only about 30,000oz in the June quarter, well below the 40,000-45,000oz expected, after security problems in Mali disrupted equipment deliveries and explosives supply.
Resolute Mining has published an initial resource of 266,000oz at its Bantaco prospect near the Mako gold mine, as it looks to extend gold production in Senegal by five to ten years.
