Fortuna Mining agreed on 10 August 2026 to pay $200m to acquire the Bambadji gold exploration project in Senegal from Barrick and IAMGOLD, extending its land position next to its own Diamba Sud discovery.
Fortuna Mining has approved a $109m project to raise throughput at its Séguéla gold mine in Côte d'Ivoire by 30% to 2.3Mtpa, targeting more than 200,000oz a year over the next decade.
