Zijin Mining

Partly state-owned Chinese miner headquartered in Fujian province and dual-listed in Shanghai and Hong Kong. It has expanded aggressively into Africa over the past decade to become one of the continent's largest copper investors.

Zijin holds 39.6% of the Kamoa-Kakula copper complex in the DRC alongside Ivanhoe Mines, is developing the Kolwezi copper project in the DRC, and owns the Bisha copper-zinc mine in Eritrea.
